An Open Community Continuing
the Thought of Martin Heidegger

The Circle is therefore dedicated to critical thinking and scholarship that rigorously engages with the works and life of Martin Heidegger from a variety of perspectives, including but not limited to: creative, historically contextual, exegetical, contemporary, socio-political, and conceptual. The purpose of the Circle is served by the holding of its annual conference, by its affiliate journal, Gatherings: The Heidegger Circle Annual, by the organization of satellite sessions at major North American philosophy conferences, by its mentorship program, and by other activities that facilitate community among its members.
